Over the course of July, we were pleased to welcome two students from local colleges to the Identity Creative studio for Summer work experience placements.

During their time, the students completed a series of tasks which involved getting familiar with the software we use and the busy working environment. We assigned a number of projects which required some creative thinking and the application to marketing material.

Isaac, 15, from Cottenham Village College said: “I’ve had brilliant a work experience with Identity, they made me feel so welcome and a valued part of the team. They offered me a great insight into the business of a creative agency and I know this will help shape my future.”

Joseph, 17, from Hills Road College said: “Thank you very much for allowing me to  spend time at Identity. I felt I learnt a lot and gained more knowledge for what it would be like to be a graphic designer. It was nice getting to know you all.”

Identity Creative says: “We always look forward to welcoming work experience placements in the Summer. It’s really interesting to see what can be achieved in two weeks – not from just a creative perspective, but from their personal development, seeing how they grow in confidence. It’s also great to see a body of work taken away with them which they can keep as a reminder of their time with us. We hope we can assist in any way for making the right career choice.”
